Giving of tithes and offerings to help further the kingdom of God is one of the truest forms of worship and obedience. It shows that we trust God with our finances even when the numbers may not add up. When we give God our first fruits, He will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings in our lives (Malachi 3:10). In Galatians 6:7, the Bible lets us know that whatever we sow, we shall reap, but in 2 Corinthians 9:6, we are reminded that if we sow sparingly, we shall also reap sparingly. Just think of how many testimonies have we heard throughout the years about someone giving and then receiving what they gave back and many times more! Just try it out and watch God do the unthinkable in your life!
